The Branch held a successful October Workshop with 40 juvenile pipers and drummers enjoying a week's worth of top class tuition.  The week finished off with a rousing showcase of their newly learned skills; pictures and in depth article to follow.

The Branch successfully held its first PDQB, SQA accredited, course in March 2010.   Twenty one people took part and all successfully gained certification at various disciplines and levels- click here for more information.

Feedback from the learners was very encouraging with most wanting a further opportunity to advance their qualifications.

The Branch will look at the posibility of this happening in the early part of 2011.  Anyone interested should contact us using the details on this site.

Half of the annual Branch fees are allocated to education and training e.g. the October Wokshop week is open to juvenile Branch members.  The week is entirely funded by the Branch and has seen an encouraging rise in number of participants.
